The WineGuard is a wine glass cover I highly recommend using. It keeps fruit flies out of your glass. It is a perforated stainless steel mesh lid that allows wine to aerate while in your glass. Fruit flies change the aroma and flavour profile of wine instantly when they land in it. They are one of the biggest enemies to wine once it’s open - next to oxygen. The WineGuard does the trick and I recommend it to any restaurant or winery.
